Why digital health? I get this question a LOT. How did I get here. I never intended to become an IT expert, let alone a Digital Health Subject Matter Expert (SME). Dia macam tiba-tiba ehh kat mana ni 😆 No la just kidding (it was a long journey) What I can recall is that, actually all I wanted was to automate my workflows - ESPECIALLY doing roster 🥲 hated it. I felt like my precious time was better spent on treating patients rather than having to stare at the excel spreadsheet calculating hours. And since then, I kept on exploring new things everyday. Many asked me, how can you learn IT? My answer always, "I can ace medical school, learning new stuff is not an issue 😅" Belajar je lah kan? Apa susah hahaha. In my honest opinion, being too honest is not good during interview I don’t mean that you should lie but some things are better left unsaid. Tak payah cerita semua benda. 👍👍3 years before............I started my journey in completely different industry. We should always strive to do our best, even if we are not yet fully informed or skilled in a particular area. However, once we gain more knowledge or experience, we should use that newfound understanding to improve our actions and decisions. Throwback to my first Google Ads client! I still remember the day I landed my first Google Ads client, a local business owner who wanted to dominate the first page of Google search results. The catch? He had zero experience with Google Ads, and I was still learning the ropes myself! I was hesitant to take on the project, but something about it sparked my curiosity. I saw it as the perfect opportunity to learn Google Ads from scratch and prove to myself that I could deliver results. But, as usual, in my life, something went wrong, and the account got suspended on the very first day! I was panicked, with no idea how to get the account back up and running. But, after some frantic troubleshooting, I managed to resolve the issue and get the campaign back on track. Fast forward to the end of the campaign, and I was blown away by the results! Not only did we meet the client's expectations, but we also exceeded them. When the client took feedback from his customers, a whopping 2-3 out of 10 customers reported finding his business through Google Ads! That was the moment I knew I had made the right decision in taking on that first client. It was a steep learning curve, but it taught me the value of perseverance, creative problem-solving, and delivering results-driven solutions. Sino pa ba walang Aircon? Here are some practical tips to save on aircon electricity costs: I usually set my aircon to 22°C for sleeping since it keeps me comfortable without waking up perspiring. During the day, I switch to dehumidification mode (DRY mode), which helps keep humidity between 50-60%, making the room feel cooler without dropping the temperature too much. This is ideal for Manila’s humid climate. I find setting the remote to 24°C during the day works fine, as the actual room temp usually stays around 23°C with lower humidity. It’s important to note that setting the aircon to very low temperatures like 16°C often only cools the room to about 19°C, but the compressor works non-stop, leading to higher electricity costs. To save energy, use DRY mode (look for the water droplet symbol, not the snowflake) and set the temp to around 24°C or 25°C during the day. Auto Mode: If your aircon has an Auto Mode, it can automatically switch between COOL and FAN modes based on the room temperature. However, Auto Mode won’t switch to DRY mode automatically, so you’ll need to do that manually if you want to control humidity. Auto Mode is useful for maintaining comfort and energy efficiency, but manual switching is necessary for managing humidity. By the way, if you’re using higher HP models for more than 10 hours a day, investing in energy-saving technology like Energy SavAire (ES) can make a significant difference in cutting down your electricity costs. For reference, here’s a rough estimate of aircon electricity costs in Manila:  • 1 HP (900 watts) - ₱2.50 per hour  • 1.5 HP (1.2 kW) - ₱3.75 per hour  • 2 HP (1.9 kW) - ₱5.00 per hour  • 2.5 HP (2 kW) - ₱6.25 per hour Hope this helps! #EnergySavings  #EnergySavAire  #Sustainability

Presented the project I was leading to PETRONAS’ leadership team as someone with less than 1 year of working experience- here’s what I learned: 1) it’s okay to have a script In uni, we were always told “don’t read from your slides. People can read, they want you to explain”. While I still agree to that, it’s also okay to have a script. It keeps you informed, you’re not gonna blank out and miss anything important. It’s okay to refer back to your notes. 2) maintain eye contact It’s intimidating presenting in front of highly capable and respected individuals but HOLD YOUR GROUND little ducklings because they’re human too! I make it a point to make eye contact with each leaders since it can show confidence and it’s considered as a non verbal communication 3) practice and communicate Lemme tell you, I was nervous. I didn’t sleep. I had butterflies. I practiced with my direct report (Hi Tobin, if you ever come across this post!!) at least 6 times before presenting to the leaders. I communicated with him my every little concerns, what to do if something I didn’t prepare for were bound to happen, update him and etc. over communication is better then not enough. My boss was kind enough to give me the opportunity to present in front of our leaders, practice with me despite our busy schedule, fixing my speech and presentation etc. grateful.
